About Me
My name is Lorena and I have been lucky enough to live in different parts of the world and be able to care for and teach children in Mexico, USA and France. This has helped me understand different learning approaches and backgrounds.
However, it was only when I moved to LA 2 in 2018 that I was introduced to Elimination Communication (EC). My daughter was 5mo and after reading (and hesitating a lot…) I decided to give it a try a month later. It really changed my (and my family’s) life and my way of thinking about babies’ elimination. (I just wish I had known about it before my daughter’s birth!).
So with my second child I started EC from birth. Having 2 kids made me realize that my expectations should be more realistic. I was feeling too much pressure to do the same as with my daughter so I adjusted EC to my new family life and this showed me that there is a lot of flexibility in the process and it can be adapted to our needs and family dynamic.
As a mom who lives far from her family, I know the importance of needing support specially during the challenging times. That is why I became a coach, so I could be able to help out families by giving them support and guidance.
