About Me

Hey I’m Erica, mom to 3-year-old twin girls and a 16-month-old son. I fell into EC unexpectedly after my son had a pretty rough start including a lengthy NICU stay. After 7 weeks of specialists, we finally got to the bottom of it; however, my now “perfectly healthy” baby still fussed and clawed at his face every night at 9pm. Being a software engineer by profession I had to get to the bottom of this which led me to find EC. To my shock it worked! That first night my son peed in the potty 3x and we never looked back. When my son was 2 months old he reliably used the potty, but my 21 month old twins were still in diapers which didn’t feel right. After sifting through a LOT of bad advice and about 3 weeks of effort my twins were night and daytime potty trained. I felt like I could do anything! My son was out of daytime diapers from 4-8 months old when we decided to take a break from EC. He was fully daytime potty trained by 14.5 months old. This whole experience made me realize my real passion is potty training! I set about helping other moms achieve this huge parental rite of passage and achieve freedom from diapers. My favorite part of potty training has to be seeing babies become little kids and the huge push it gives them with all other developmental milestones.

He no longer wakes up from stroller naps with wet pants or pees in the car seat during every single drive. He tells us clearly when he needs to poop or pee over 90% of the time and knows how to walk himself to the toilet. There's no way I'd be where I am today with my son's potty training progress if it weren't for Erica's tailored coaching.
