About Me

Before becoming a mother, I wondered how come baby animals keep their nests clean while baby humans soil their clothes or diapers. I also wondered what people did before cloth or diapers became available.

By a stroke of luck, I first read about elimination communication when I was pregnant. It immediately made sense. I was hesitant to try until I read that it works even if you only do it part-time.

I made my first attempts when my son was about 2 months old but I was too overwhelmed at the time and really got into the rhythm of it when he was 4 months old. Although we only practised part-time, I was soon catching almost all of his poos. I was hooked!

Elimination communication is a great way to bond and communicate with your baby, avoid cleaning up messes and also save natural resources. It is fun and does not cost anything--on the contrary, it helps families save a lot of money. I decided to become a Go Diaper Free Certified Consultant to bring this centuries-old knowledge to families in the modern world.
